I spent years working in salons that ran on volume. More clients, faster turnaround, and a tip at the end to make everyone feel okay about it. I got good at the work but I was exhausted. The model was exhausting.
So I stopped doing it that way. I built Bounce around the thing I actually wanted — appointments that feel like appointments, not assembly lines. Artists who are compensated for their craft. Clients who leave feeling like the whole thing was for them.
